The Labour Standards Development Authority (LSDA) joined hands with the Ministry of Health and Community Protection to execute a vital labour awareness initiative, themed "Our Life is Prevention." This initiative conducted yesterday, Tuesday, is a testament to the ongoing commitment to fostering health and awareness within the community in the Emirate of Sharjah.
This joint effort involved collaboration with the Public Health Programs Support Department at the Representative Office of the Ministry of Health and Community Protection in Sharjah. The primary focus was on highlighting the significance of hygiene, both in a general context and with a specific emphasis on personal hygiene, as a key measure in disease prevention and infection control. Specialized lectures were conducted by experts in the field.
The initiative reached out to 500 male workers at their sites on Tuesday. The Authority actively engaged with workers on-site, underscoring the pivotal role of hygiene practices in averting diseases and curbing the spread of infections.
The LSDA reiterates its unwavering commitment to collaborating with strategic partners in the implementation of CSR initiatives. Such endeavors aim to enhance the overall work environment in the Emirate of Sharjah and contribute to the well-being of the workforce.
